STA Operator (2nd shift)
Job Description:Purpose:The STA Operator (2nd shift) performs cleaning and chemical processing on dental implants; labels, assembles and packages dental implants and abutments in a clean room environment.Accountabilities:Help achieve business results, that include Safety, Quality, Productivity, Delivery and Past due targetsPerform cleaning and chemical processing of dental implants and abutmentsAssemble and package dental implants and abutments in a cleanroom environmentOperate multiple workstations throughout the work shiftPerform minor troubleshooting of equipment issuesEnsure proper care in the use and maintenance of equipment and suppliesWork closely with peers, Team Lead, and support staff such as Engineering Technicians, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Management to escalate and resolve various production related issuesJob Requirements:Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:High School diploma, some college preferred.Must understand technical drawingsUnderstand eDHR (Electronic Device History Record)Understands and complies with all safety and area cleanliness policies, must successfullyComplete all SOP TrainingKnowledge of inspection equipment (microscope)Sufficient mechanical knowledge to be capable of troubleshooting simple equipment issuesKnowledge of Food and Drug Administration "Good Manufacturing Practices" and ISO 9001Good manual dexterityMust be able to lift 25lbs at a minimumHave 20/20 vision with or without aidCritical Skills / Technical Know-how:Able to communicate; speak and write in English at a High School Level.Reading comprehension at a High School Level.Computer literacy: basic knowledge/familiarity with PC, basic data entry, SAP a plus.Competencies:Safety AwarenessQuality OrientationContinuous ImprovementWork StandardsApplied LearningCritical Success Factors and Key Challenges:Understand and comply with safety and area cleanliness requirementsAccurate and efficient assembly, labeling and packaging of dental abutments and implants in a clean room environmentInterfaces with Quality Control, Manufacturing Technicians as necessary to assure output and quality meet and exceed standardsAbility to work effectively with team members to achieve planned resultsUnderstand and complies with FDA, QSR and ISO 9001 requirementsCapable of conducting all TPM (Total Production Maintenance) requirementsMust be able to train co-workers when needed (mentor)Effective communication skillsPerforms other duties as assigned#LI-TP1IND123Target Market Salary Range:Actual compensation packages take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location; skill sets; relevant education and certifications; depth of experience; performance; and other business and organizational needs.
