Stepdown Unit Nurse (RN) in Springdale, AR

Provide specialized nursing care in a fast-paced stepdown and telemetry environment during night shifts. This role requires strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and leadership to ensure safe and effective patient care aligned with nursing standards and hospital policies. You will manage patient care utilizing the Nursing Process, oversee delegated duties, and float between stepdown and telemetry units as needed.Key Responsibilities:Deliver comprehensive nursing care to PCU/Telemetry patients adhering to nursing best practices and state regulations.Demonstrate leadership by coordinating patient care and supervising assigned staff.Utilize critical thinking and clinical judgment in managing complex patient needs.Float between Stepdown (ACU) and Telemetry/Medical-Surgical units as assigned.Maintain clinical competencies through ongoing education and training.Desired Qualifications:Registered Nurse (RN) license active in the state.Minimum of 2 years' experience in stepdown level nursing.Current ACLS and BLS certifications.Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend.Willingness to float between different units as needed.Residence located more than 50 miles from the facility.Shift Details:Night shifts from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM.Every other weekend required.Location Insight: Springdale, AR offers a welcoming community with access to natural beauty, local amenities, and a balanced lifestyle.
