This role focuses on developing new inspection and service contracts for fire protection services by building relationships with commercial property owners, property management companies, and facility managers. The position will also identify and develop new construction and tenant fit-out opportunities for fire alarm and fire sprinkler installations. The ideal candidate is a relationship-focused sales professional who enjoys networking, prospecting, and becoming a trusted life-safety partner for local businesses.Key ResponsibilitiesBusiness DevelopmentProspect and develop new clients including commercial building owners, facility managers, and property management companiesBuild long-term relationships that generate recurring inspection and service contractsIdentify opportunities for fire alarm, sprinkler, extinguisher, and kitchen suppression inspectionsConstruction & Installation OpportunitiesIdentify new construction and tenant improvement projectsWork with and develop relationships with general contractors, developers, and building owners to secure fire alarm and sprinkler installation projectsTrack local development and bid opportunitiesClient Relationship ManagementServe as a resource for customers regarding fire code compliance and life safety requirementsConduct site visits and assess customer fire protection needsCoordinate with internal inspection, service, and installation teams to ensure successful project deliverySales PerformanceMaintain an active pipeline of opportunitiesMeet or exceed sales targets for service agreements and installation projectsProvide accurate forecasting and reportingQualifications2+ years of outside sales experience (Fire protection industry preferred)Experience selling service contracts, construction services, or B2B services (AIA knowledge preferred)Strong networking and relationship-building skillsSelf-motivated with the ability to prospect and generate new businessBasic understanding of commercial buildings or constructionValid Driver's LicenseCompensationBase salary of $50,000Commission programCar allowanceGas cardEZ PassCandidate will interview and report out of the Pottstown, PA OfficeSuccessful completion of a drug test and pre-employment background screening is required.
