Known for their craftsmanship, collaborative culture, and strong pipeline of work, they offer a supportive environment and clear paths for advancement.DescriptionAs a Preconstruction Manager / Construction Estimator, you'll play a key role in the preconstruction process, helping to shape project strategy and ensure competitive, accurate bids. Responsibilities include:Prepare detailed cost estimates for a range of commercial construction projectsExperience preparing estimated and pre-bid packages for projects of all sizes, from $5M commercial renovation projects to $50M+ ground-up construction projectsAnalyze drawings, specifications, and other documentation to develop scopes of workSolicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricingCollaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers during preconstructionDevelop budgets, bid packages, and value engineering optionsParticipate in bid reviews and presentations to leadership and clientsMaintain historical cost data and contribute to continuous improvement of estimating toolsAssist in identifying project risks and opportunities during early planning stagesSupport business development efforts with conceptual and detailed estimatesProfileA successful Preconstruction Manager / Construction Estimator, should have:Strong professional experience in construction estimating, preferably in a variety of commercial sectorsStrong understanding of construction methods, materials, and market pricingProficiency in estimating software and Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple estimates and deadlines simultaneouslyBachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field preferredJob OfferCompetitive base salary ranging from $110,000 to $150,000, depending on experience.Comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance and retirement plans.Generous holiday leave and paid time off to support work-life balance.Opportunities for career growth and professional development in the construction industry.Collaborative and supportive company culture focused on delivering high-quality results.
