Payroll Process & Systems LeadLocation: Peachtree Corners, GA 30071- Hybrid (3days, Tue-Thurs)Duration: 3+Months Mode of interview: ZoomNo of rounds of interview: 1New Job Position or Backfill position: BackfillThis position will be located at our Peachtree Corners, GA campus with a set onsite schedule on Tues / Wed / Thurs. Occasional travel to our Sunnyvale, CA headquarters may be necessary to drive cross-functional efforts and building a rapport across various stakeholders.Primary Function of PositionThe Payroll Process & HCM System Lead will lead projects and process improvement initiatives as well as be the primary lead for HR system / data utilization. The Payroll Process & HCM System Lead will bring a mindset of accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement while possessing a strong financial acumen.Essential Job DutiesSubject matter expert of payroll systems utilized by the Company.Provide operational and strategic oversight of payroll services for U.S. and Canada while ensuring an effective governance of policies and procedures.Identify improvements and best practices to drive process excellence aimed at ensuring accurate and timely processing of payroll transactions.Mitigate and investigate risk proactively; maintain effective internal controls for department and enhance controls when necessary to drive risk reduction.Assist in identifying error root causes, resolutions, and process refinements to prevent and eliminate repetitive errors.Drive efficiencies of payroll related reporting to support organizational needs; develop payroll metrics to track productivity and performance.Primary liaison with Human Resources and ensure cross-functional collaboration.Devise long-term strategic plan of the organization and identify capabilities and investments in systems to achieve plan.Required Skills and Experience7 to 10 years of payroll people leadership experience in a large company setting.Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including advanced formulas (e.g., INDEX/MATCH, XLOOKUP, nested logic), PivotTables, Power Query, data modeling, and large dataset management; ability to build scalable, audit-ready tools and automate processes.Required Education and TrainingBachelor's degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and 10 or more years of relevant payroll leadership experience.
