Job Overview:
The Marketing and Advertising Specialist is responsible for developing and implementing marketing strategies that promote products and services, and that advertise upcoming events and announcements pertaining to US Fire Pump Company. They will work in close coordination with the sales team to identify target markets of opportunity, and create campaigns that effectively reach and engage with potential customers and generate new leads. They will also manage the company’s social media pages and websites to help increase community engagement and public awareness. They must have a strong understanding of marketing principles, content creation, social media management, and analytical skills.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and execute marketing plans and campaigns
Understand industry trends and technical product information
Maintain and manage multiple social media accounts and company websites
Create content through photography, videography, and editing software
Ensure Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for US Fire Pump Company brands
Coordinate advertising and marketing materials for trade show activities and other community events
Conduct market research and trends analysis to identify target audiences and generate new leads
Author articles and company newsletters
Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies
Experience Required:
Minimum of 3 years of experience in marketing and/or advertising roles
Strong knowledge of marketing principles and practices
Experience with social media management and functionality
Detail-oriented with a strong understanding of organizational vision and mission
Ability to analyze data, identify market trends, and make recommendations
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
