RN - Pre/Post/PACUThe RN - Pre/Post/PACU role involves coordinating and delivering comprehensive care to surgical patients throughout preoperative and postoperative stages, including recovery from anesthesia. This includes assessment, monitoring, and intervention, as well as providing education and support to patients and their families, while acting as a liaison between the surgical team and support systems. The role emphasizes a multidisciplinary approach to ensure patient safety and optimal outcomes. The RN - Pre/Post/PACU partakes in administering IV therapies, inserting and monitoring IV lines, and performing outpatient procedures such as dressing changes, PICC line care, and Foley catheter changes.
