Duties: Able to understand high quality Finish Work completion and give training to others. Install Interior doors and window trim Install Kitchen, Bath and pre-built Cabinets Install Shelving and Trim Install Ceramic Tile Drywall and Painting Finishes Understands High Quality Construction Methods Understand safe usage of all power equipment, along with exact dimensioning Take Direction from Production Management Bi-lingual English/Spanish Understand Blueprints and Specifications in English Safety TrainingDetermine Materials and tools needed for projects and retrieve or direct supplies to be retrieved from supply companies or company inventory. Train Apprentices and other employees Keep track of inventory so new materials can be ordered as needed Read plans, instructions, or specifications to determine work activities. Operate hand and power tools of all types: air hammers, earth tampers, cement mixers, and measuring equipment, and a variety of other equipment and instruments. Clean and prepare sites, dig trenches, set braces to support the sides of excavations, erect scaffolding, and clean up rubble, debris, and other waste materials. Follow established OSHA and company safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment. Identity and eliminate possible hazards Load, unload, or identify building materials, machinery, or tools, distributing them to the appropriate locations, according to project plans or specifications. Provide assistance to craft workers, such as carpenters, plasterers, or masons. Measure, mark, or record openings or distances to layout areas where construction work will be performed Install structures or fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, trim, or hardware, using carpenters' hand or power tools. Maintain and report time and description of work activities Qualifications and Education Requirements Driver’s License with clean driving record and reliable transportation Physical Requirements: Climbing, Balancing, Stooping, Kneeling, Crouching, Crawling, Reaching, Standing, Walking, Pushing, Pulling, Lifting, Grasping, Feeling, Repetitive Motions Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to lift 75lbs on a consistent basis Must have experience and knowledge of the following;Building and Construction — Knowledge of materials, methods, and the tools involved in the construction or repair of houses, and/or building. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Construction Safety — Knowledge of OSHA construction safety practices and regulations. Willingness to follow all safety standards.
