Sr. Application Developer

Senior Application DeveloperStarbucks is looking for a Senior Application Developer to support the Store Development organization. One of Starbucks top initiatives is to keep all the infrastructure and platform on new and updated technologies. In the Store Development organization, there are some ASPs which are on unsupported technology stack and would need to be upgraded so that they are compliant, secure and able to serve the future needs of a growing business. Some of the integrations on the ASP need to move to java-based APIs which would connect to IBM Tririga platform that hosts the support application. So, the need is for a developer with strong fundamentals within Java to develop the APIs. It would also be good for the developer to have strong SQL and PL/SQL skills to be able to pull data from source system for the API development.Key projects:Current integrations on ASPs in Store dev are on old non-supported, rigid technology stack. The need is to have the underlying integrations supporting the business on high-availability integration platforms which are also performant.Daily responsibilities:Starbucks is looking for a Senior Application Developer to support the Store Development organization.One of Starbucks top initiatives is to make their partners and supplier's lives easier, so they have been building a variety of applications to improve the efficiency of barista and associated personal including the suppliers.This developer will help in creating a web-based application for the suppliers.Supplier app will give unified experience to all Suppliers to perform repair and maintenance activities at store.This application will address Supplier Acceptance of Service Request, Interface to Provide Root Cause Analysis, and Equipment install and retire.This application will further be enhanced for Supplier Geo Location tagging and Invoice submit process as well.They are looking for a developer with strong fundamentals within Java and Javascript to develop the UI of this new application and connect the services to their Tririga Compass platform that hosts the support application.Technology requirements:Strong experience building scalable web-based applications using React js, Node js.Strong experience developing cloud-based applications within cloud preferably AzureBackend APIJava SpringboardDegree or certifications required:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent experience.Years experience:4+Required background?
