Summer camps will meet Monday - Friday all summer long at multiple locations.Counselors must have experience leading groups of elementary age children in a structured environment such as classroom, aftercare or camps.Counselors must:· have dependable car to get to summer camp locations;· have an outgoing and fun personality;· have an established record of reliability and good teamwork;· be able to give an 10-12 week summer camp commitment.Programs, training and supplies for camps are provided.Pay: $52.00 - $65.00 per day for half day camps$115.00 - $145.00 per day for full day campsTypical Schedule:Monday thru Friday1⁄2 camps 8:30 am – 12:15 pm or 12:30 – 4:15 pmFull day camps 8:30 am – 4:15 pm When applying, please include a resume' that includes your experience leading children in a structured program.If your experience, and interests are a good match, we will call you back within 1 business day to schedule a short phone discussion to answer your immediate questions about Mad Science and the position, then schedule an in-person interview.You can find more about us and working for us at the sites:Kansascity.madscience.org and Mad Science Careers.
