Truck Driver (Mobile MRI)
OverviewWe are seeking an experienced and dependable Mobile MRI Driver to support our growing mobile imaging operations across North Carolina. This role is ideal for a professional commercial driver who takes pride in safety, precision, and customer service, and who enjoys working independently in a dynamic healthcare environment.Position Location: Home-based anywhere in North Carolina, with travel to assigned imaging sites throughout the region.ResponsibilitiesCompletely proficient in ingress/egress unit maneuvering at designated mobile sites.Set up mobile unit once delivered to location, including:Deliver unit to the assigned area on MR padDisconnect trailerUtilize lift and/or air bags to level and stabilize unitSet up stabilizers in front and rear of trailerLift and awning set upConnect CAT 5 and Phone CordsGenerator fuel fill-upRequires valid commercial driver’s license.Ability to drive at night and for long distances.Required to remain on site for extended periods, upon request, for unit service or variances in patient schedule.Provide routine maintenance on the truck as well as well as the mobile unit upon request, including but not limited to:Tire maintenanceLift gate maintenanceBasic chiller/Cold head resettingMaintain glycolic and fuel levels in the trailerMaintain proper water levels in humidifier system on trailerDependable and TrustworthyMust keep abreast of the DOT regulations and follow all DOT rules, including:Keeping all required logsRequired to have annual DOT physicalSubject to random drug testing within 24 hour noticeTrack all expenses and receiptsExemplary driving recordExceed MedQuest Best Customer Service ExpectationsQualificationsCustomer service skills:Ability to represent the Center in a professional manner when interacting with the public.Ability to make sure the schedule is kept.Communication SkillsAbility to communicate effectively and positively when contacting the center.TeamworkAbility to function effectively as part of the Region.Ability to be flexible with the schedule of pick-ups and deliveries depending on the needs of the centers.Maintain focus under pressureShare relevant information with other employeesVolunteer to assist others when time permitsManaging ChangeCommunicate effectively and positively when dealing with fellow employeesCommunicate with Center Manager on a regular basis to keep informed of any updates or ideas.Ability to function in a fast-paced environmentAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionEducation High School Diploma or GED Must have Active/Valid Commercial Driver’s LicenseExperience 3 - 5 years of experience driving a tractor/trailer truck.Company MessageAbout MedQuest ImagingFounded in 1996, MedQuest is one of the most experienced outpatient imaging providers in the United States.
