The Food & Beverage Attendant is also responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the grill dining area throughout his/her shift.Essential FunctionsTake orders and serve customers; responsible for handling all cash and credit card transactions for all food and beverage purchases.Ensure collection and recording receipt of appropriate payment (cash, credit card transactions); Handle and record cash and credit card transactions in accordance with company and City procedures.Communicate food orders, ensuring accuracy.Ensure proper cleaning of checkout and dining area.Ensure beverage coolers and snacks are stocked properly and consistently throughout shift.Prepare and serve alcoholic beverages.Maintain a working knowledge of beverages offered and how to prepare and serve them.Maintain a memorized knowledge of the menu, prices and ingredients; be aware of modifications as necessary.Provide assistance with tournament set up and break down.Perform other duties as assigned or required by management.Minimum QualificationsNo food & beverage experience required.Strong verbal and written communication skills.Physical Requirements/Working ConditionsThis work requires the regular exertion of up to 10 pounds of force and frequent exertion of up to 25 pounds of force; work regularly requires sitting, bending, reaching, hand dexterity (grasping, holding, keyboarding, repetitive movements), reading, writing, eye-hand coordination, seeing (near and/or far, color, depth, field of vision), hearing, using the telephone, contact with government officials and the general public, and working inside and alone. Work regularly requires exposure to outdoor weather conditions and occasionally requires wet, humid conditions (non-weather) and working near moving mechanical parts; work is generally in a moderately noisy location.
