They are proud to maintain a strong company culture rooted in collaboration, integrity, and operational excellence through a people-first leadership approach.The Indoor Cultivation Lead will support and optimize indoor cultivation operations within the New Jersey facility, ensuring consistency, quality, and best-in-class cannabis production. This role requires a hands-on cultivation expert with a strong understanding of commercial-scale indoor cultivation, environmental controls, plant health, and day-to-day execution.The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented grower who thrives in the cultivation environment, leads by example, and can support the team in maintaining disciplined, high-performing operations.This is a full-time, onsite position based in New Jersey.MUST be legally able to work in the USA.MUST HAVE:2-4+ years of hands-on experience in indoor cannabis cultivation at commercial scaleDirect experience working within a licensed cannabis facility (not personal or small-scale grows)Demonstrated experience maintaining environmental parameters (HVAC, lighting, humidity, irrigation systems)Proven ability to support yield, quality, and consistency targets across multiple harvest cyclesExperience following and executing SOPs and compliance protocols (METRC or equivalent)Ability to work full-time onsite in New JerseyKey ResponsibilitiesSupport daily indoor cultivation operations from propagation through harvest across multiple grow cyclesMonitor and maintain environmental conditions including temperature, humidity, lighting, and airflow within set parametersExecute irrigation schedules, nutrient programs, and IPM protocols consistently and accuratelyIdentify plant health issues early and take corrective action or escalate as neededSupport canopy management, pruning, defoliation, and plant movement activitiesEnsure consistency in plant care, cultivation practices, and output quality across batchesExecute and maintain SOP adherence across all cultivation activitiesMaintain accurate records for plant tracking, compliance, and internal reportingSupport harvest, drying, and curing processes to ensure product quality standards are metAssist in training and guiding junior cultivation staff on daily tasks and best practicesMaintain cleanliness, organization, and compliance within all cultivation areasRequirements2-4+ years experience in indoor cannabis cultivation or controlled environment agricultureExperience working within a regulated environment with strict compliance requirementsStrong understanding of plant health, nutrient management, irrigation systems, and IPM strategiesExperience working with environmental control systems (e.g., Priva, Argus, AROYA or similar)Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding cultivation environmentStrong attention to detail and ability to follow structured processes consistentlyTeam-oriented mindset with the ability to support and guide junior staff Equal Opportunity StatementEmerald Lane Recruitment is committed to advancing equity and inclusion across the global cannabis industry.
