Senior QA Automation EngineerState exp neededAustin, TX (Local Candidates Only)ContractWork Mode: Onsite / Hybridno h1 , optKey ResponsibilitiesDesign, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to support continuous testing initiativesIdentify, prioritize, and execute critical test scenarios with structured execution plansCreate and maintain clear documentation for automated testing processes and frameworksPerform and support manual testing activities including System Testing, Integration Testing (SIT), and User Acceptance Testing (UAT)Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify defects, analyze root causes, and improve overall product qualityUtilize test management and defect tracking tools to ensure testing visibility, traceability, and reporting Required Qualifications8+ years of overall QA experience with the ability to work independently on complex initiativesStrong analytical skills with sound judgment in planning and executing testing strategiesProven experience designing and developing automated test scripts using Selenium with Java or similar automation toolsExtensive experience with defect management tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or OctaneHands-on experience with test management tools such as Xray, Zephyr, or TestRailExcellent problem-solving skills with a creative and flexible approach to testing challengesMust currently reside in the Austin, TX metropolitan area Preferred Experience8+ years of manual testing experience (System Testing, SIT, UAT)8+ years of experience writing test plans, test cases, and detailed QA documentation
