Brake Press Operator
Job Description:
Looking for a well diverse, highly skilled operator. Operators need to be of high caliber, meaning high performance in the following categories: Safety, Quality, Productivity, Attendance, and Problem Solving.
Operator will need to able to perform own setups for moderate – high complexity products.
Operator will need to be self-motivated and self-disciplined to achieve set expectations with minimum oversight.
Operator will need to interpret blueprint to set up machine and produce quality part consistently while meeting quoted cycle and set up times
Operator will need to be able to identify and reduce waste within the process to include time, materials, set ups, part handling, etc.
Requirements:
Preferred to have minimum 3-year brake press experience
Preferred to be able to setup machine for Amada and Cincinnati Brake Presses
Must be able to work at fast pace, follow instructions and be self-motivated
Requires excellent math skills including fractions, and geometry
Requires ability to read a tape measure, calipers, and other tools
Work independently with minimal supervision
Must work well with others
Be able to lift up to 50 pounds routinely
Ability to stand for 12 hours
Ability to read and understand drawings, prints, and schematics
Ensure and verify material
Provide immediate feedback when problems occur
Attention to detail
Good communications skills with coworkers and supervisor
Schedule:
Monday to Friday 6am – 4:30PM
Overtime as needed. Hours subject to change per customer demand
