You’ll dig deep into their operations, learn how they use technology, and make sure their IT environment is aligned with best practices, industry standards, and compliance requirements.By maintaining a close technical relationship, you’ll be able to:Spot risks and technical gaps before they become problemsRecommend enhancements that improve cybersecurity, performance, and user experienceDrive proactive service and planning that reduces reactive support costsProvide big-company IT solutions to help small businesses succeedThis is a hands-on, proactive role where you’ll work directly with clients, vendors, and teammates to create long-term technical success.What You’ll BringStrong technical troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to translate IT language into business terms for stakeholders at all levelsDetail-oriented, organized, and proactive mindsetExcellent documentation and communication skillsTeam player with a customer-first attitude (“How can I help? Where do we go from here?”)Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities independentlyCommitment to continuous learning and earning certificationsExperience & Skills7+ years in a technology support environment, with project design and delivery experiencePrior Managed Services Provider (MSP) experience strongly preferredSolid understanding of infrastructure, systems, and networks (hardware/software)Preferred experience with:ConnectWise, LabTechMicrosoft Intune, Microsoft CopilotAzure and AWSWindows Desktop/Server, Mac OSExchange, SQL, SharePoint, Office 365Active Directory, Group PoliciesDNS, VPN, WAN/LAN connectivitySwitches, routers, firewalls, and security solutionsEnterprise backup and business continuity solutionsEducation & CertificationsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT field preferredProfessional certifications a plus:Microsoft (MCP, MCSA, MCSE)CompTIA (A+, Network+)Cisco CCNAVMware VCPCitrix CCEA/CCIASonicWALL CSSAWork Environment & TravelThis is a travel role — TAMs spend most of their time at client sitesOccasional irregular hours or on-call rotation may be requiredMust be able to lift and set up equipment as neededClean driving record and reliable vehicle requiredEqual Opportunity EmployerOne Step is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
