Job OverviewThe Digital Communications & Account Manager (DCAM) will oversee the day-to-day digital communications activities while also supporting client account strategy, project coordination, and campaign execution. This hybrid contractor role combines:Digital media management, Strategic communications, Client service, Project management. The ideal candidate is both creative and operationally strong — capable of developing content, managing timelines, leading client communication, and helping move campaigns from concept to execution.Key ResponsibilitiesDigital Communications & ContentDevelop and manage social media content calendars across platforms, including LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, X/Twitter, and TikTok. Draft compelling social media copy, digital content, newsletters, and client communications. Coordinate content creation, including graphics, short-form video, and branded digital assets. Schedule and publish content using digital management tools. Monitor engagement, trends, and audience interaction. Account ManagementServe as a day-to-day point of contact for assigned clients. Participate in client meetings, status calls, and campaign planning sessions. Support strategic communications planning and digital campaign development. Provide proactive recommendations and client updates. Help ensure client goals, timelines, and deliverables are met. Project & Campaign ManagementManage timelines, workflows, and campaign deliverables across multiple accounts. Coordinate with internal team members, freelancers, vendors, and creative partners. Track project priorities and maintain organized communications. Support integrated PR and digital campaigns from planning through execution. Analytics & ReportingMonitor digital campaign performance and social media analytics. Prepare monthly reports with insights and strategic recommendations. Track KPIs including engagement, reach, audience growth, and campaign performance. Identify opportunities for optimization and improvement. What You BringRequiredBachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or related fields.7+ years of experience in PR, communications, digital marketing, or agency account management. Strong understanding of digital communications and social media strategy Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Experience managing multiple clients or projects simultaneously. Strong organizational and project management abilities. Ability to work independently while collaborating closely with a small team. Professional client-facing communication skills. PreferredExperience working within a PR or communications agency.Experience working with government contracts.Familiarity with media relations and integrated campaigns. Basic graphic design and short-form video editing experience. Experience with analytics and reporting tools.
