Our mission is to create a world where access to capital is no barrier to realizing potential.Role DescriptionAs an Account Executive, you will build and manage relationships with business owners and referral partners (e.g., brokers, advisors, and other intermediaries) to drive high-quality deal flow onto Hum's platform. You'll work directly with founders and operators to help them access non-dilutive financing solutions.This is a hybrid role that blends relationship management, deal sourcing, and consultative sales, with exposure to a wide range of businesses across industries and geographies.What You'll DoOwn Relationships & Drive Deal FlowBuild and nurture relationships with referral partners to generate consistent, high-quality company introductionsDevelop a network of brokers, advisors, and other intermediariesIdentify co-marketing and community opportunities to educate business owners on financing solutionsPartner with internal teams to structure and execute referral agreementsManage Inbound & Outbound PipelineServe as the primary point of contact for business owners seeking capitalRun discovery calls with founders and executives to understand financing needsQualify opportunities and match companies with appropriate financing solutionsManage a high-velocity pipeline of inbound leads using SalesforceDrive Revenue & Prospecting EffortsConduct strategic outbound to source new referral relationships and company leadsMaintain and grow an active pipeline across multiple industries and geographiesCollaborate closely with investment and deal teams to move opportunities forwardDeliver a Best-in-Class ExperienceEnsure a seamless experience for both referral partners and their clientsAct as a trusted advisor using a consultative, solutions-oriented approachWho You Are2+ years of experience in sales, account management, or an AE/SDR roleComfortable engaging with C-suite executives and business ownersStrong communicator: articulate, concise, and confidentHighly driven, competitive, and goal-orientedIntellectually curious with a strong interest in finance and investingNice to HaveExperience working with brokers, lenders, financial advisors, or in fintechFamiliarity with Salesforce or similar CRM toolsBackground in high-growth startups, SaaS, or financial servicesProficiency with Google Suite / Microsoft OfficeWhy This RoleDirect exposure to business owners and capital marketsOpportunity to build a high-impact network across industriesFast-paced environment with strong learning and growth opportunities
