Employment Investigator
Our client, a leading organization in the entertainment and media industry, is seeking a Employment Investigator to join their team. As a Employment Investigator, you will be part of the Employee Relations Department supporting the Human Resources team. The ideal candidate will have strong investigative skills, excellent communication abilities, and a commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive workplace environment, which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Employment InvestigatorLocation: Burbank, CAWhat's the Job?Perform investigations related to employee complaints, including harassment, discrimination, insubordination, and workplace hostility. Develop and execute investigation strategies, including interviewing complainants, witnesses, and respondents, and documenting findings thoroughly. Assess the facts and provide unbiased investigative outcome reports to relevant stakeholders. Recommend appropriate disciplinary actions based on investigation results, company policies, and legal considerations. Manage and handle grievances, negotiate settlements, and draft necessary documentation related to investigations. What's Needed?Minimum of 3 years of experience in employee relations, human resources, legal, or related fields. Knowledge of employment laws such as ADA, EEOC, FLSA, NLRA, and related regulations. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate tactfully at all organizational levels. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and Excel preferred.
