Cardiac Sonographer, PRN, Days

Responsibilities: RESPONSIBLE FOR:Find out more about this role by reading the information below, then apply to be considered.Operates ultrasound equipment to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound exams and routine invasive procedures according to established standards and practices. Provides patient services utilizing ultrasound equipment. Demonstrates knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathology. Provides patient care to all age groups to include neonatal, pediatrics, adult, and geriatrics. Communicates effectively with staff and radiologists.Qualifications: MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:Graduate of an AMA approved Diagnostic Medical Sonography Program.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:None, must become certified by ARDMS or ARRT or CCI within 6-month of employment.MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:NoneADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:BLS certified. xtnlbfmRegistered ARDMS, or ARRT and/or RVS/RVT (Registered Vascular Specialist) preferred.Business Unit : Company Name: Piedmont Newton Hospital
