Dishwasher One-Night Family Style Event Location: Highline College, Student Union Building 8, Des Moines, WA Date: Saturday, November 22, 2025 Start Time: 6:00 PM Rate: $19.00/hr. Hosted by: Jumpin Jambalaya We re looking for focused, dependable dishwashers to support our back-of-house team during a one-night family-style buffet event. This role is essential to keeping service smooth, safe, and on time. Responsibilities: Arrive on time in clean, closed-toe shoes and work-ready attire Maintain a clean and organized dish station throughout the event Wash and sanitize dishes, utensils, prep tools, and service ware Assist with bussing and breakdown as needed Follow food safety and hygiene protocols at all times Communicate with kitchen and lead staff to stay ahead of service flow Ideal Candidates: Have prior experience in fast-paced kitchen or event settings Work efficiently and stay calm under pressure Are respectful, reliable, and team-oriented Can lift up to 40 lbs and stand for extended periods Let s keep the kitchen flowing and the plates coming one clean dish at a time.
