Location 1950 McCormick,Buena Vista, CO, 81211,United StatesBase Pay $23.00 - $26.00 / HourEmployee Type Non-ExemptManage Others NoContact: Email amascarenaz@fadingwest.comPOSITION SUMMARYThe Quality Inspector is responsible for reviewing products, materials, and processes during the manufacturing of modular homes to ensure they meet all necessary code and quality requirements. Duties include running quality tests, identifying defects, measuring objects compared to their intended physical specifications and training production specialists on quality procedures.ResponsibilitiesInspect and test all aspects of manufactured home builds and sub-assemblies including but not limited to: Framing specificationsDry wall qualityPlumbing quality testingElectrical quality testingFire suppression standardsInsulation requirementsand all other aspects of home buildingRead home design shops/drawings and specifications to ensure that operations meet production standards.Recommend any necessary changes to improve or enhance production processes or training protocols.Approve or reject raw materials with respect to quality standards and work with the supply chain team to correct issues with suppliers.Work closely with production staff to troubleshoot and recommend fixes that are efficient and meet production velocity needs.Ensure proper documentation of all inspections through electronic application via iPad for accurate reporting purposes.Ensure products meet customer expectations and adhere to Fading West's quality standards.Communicate the results of inspections and assist with corrective actions.Maintain quality documentation where necessary and write reports to document deficiencies and errors found during inspections.Promote and advocate a culture of quality within the team.QualificationsHome building/construction experience requiredQuality control inspection experience in any industryAbility to read home building design and production drawingsStrong regard for quality assuranceWorking knowledge of construction industry products, processes, and building systemsAbility to train others effectivelyDegree in Construction Technology, Engineering or equivalent preferredRequirementsThis position is an in-person roleMust be competent and comfortable in computer skills and navigate modern technology often (Microsoft Teams, Microsoft 365, iPad, etc)This role requires signing a confidentiality agreementMay require a reference check that speaks to the positive character of the applicantMay be regularly required to stand, sit, or walk for long periods, lift or carry more than 50 pounds, climb/balance on stairs or ladders, stoop, kneel, and crouch.BENEFITS SUMMARYHealth Benefits (Portion of monthly premiums paid by employer) Medical (Cigna) Choice between three plans High deductible plan with $3300 for individuals and $6300 for families w/ HSAHigh deductible plan with $5000 deductiblePPO Plan with $1500 deductible for individuals and $3500 for familiesDirect Primary Care Medical OptionDental (Cigna)Vision (Unum)4% Employer MatchAuxiliary BenefitsLong Term Disability (fully employee paid)Life Insurance (fully employee paid)Employee Assistance ProgramHealth and Fitness Re-imbursement ($250 / year)Local Gym DiscountPaid Time Off (PTO)Vacation (2 weeks per year)Personal days (6 days per year)Sick daysPaid holidaysFading West Development LLC and all its wholly owned subsidiaries are equal opportunity employersJ-18808-Ljbffr
