Salary: $22 - $24 / hr. ($17/hr. base rate plus an average of $5 - $7/hour in tips) Schedule: Full-time – Open Availability is required for this role! About the job Our beautiful Corbett location in the John’s Landing neighborhood is a popular spot for customers who live and work in the neighborhood. Part bar, restaurant, market, coffee shop, pizzeria, and event space, Elephants on Corbett offers something for everyone. We are seeking a Barista for our amazing team! You will assist customers and produce and serve various beverages and Espresso drinks with Elephant’s high-quality expectations and consistency. Do you know how it feels when your barista at your favorite stop starts making your favorite drink the moment you walk in the door? Without even asking. Because they know you, your routine, what you like. The successful candidate must have the ability to develop relationships and rapport with our customers. This position requires food handlers and OLCC permits. We are looking for someone who can: Assist customers with purchases and produce food and other beverages in a way that meets Elephants’ standards for consistency and excellence. Sell, create, and pour quality alcoholic drinks as well as wine and beer. Effectively manage coffee inventory and pours to minimize waste. Continuously develop your product knowledge of alcoholic beverages, wine, and beer. Be flexible and able to attend to a variety of customer needs–from barista service to register work and other duties Exhibit exemplary hospitality & active customer service. Develop great relationships with customers. One must also remember customers’ names and special drinks or food requests that each customer may enjoy.
