This role is ideal for someone who enjoys administrative work, managing confidential records, interacting with the public, and ensuring information is processed accurately and efficiently.The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting criminal records administration, background check processing, licensing applications, and records management activities. This position requires strong computer skills, excellent customer service abilities, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct criminal background checks and process related inquiriesProcess court-ordered record expungements and legal documentationReview and process permit and licensing applicationsEnter, update, and maintain information within state and national databasesProcess criminal case dispositions, warrants, and court ordersCommunicate with courts, law enforcement agencies, attorneys, and members of the publicRespond to phone inquiries and provide professional customer serviceProcess incoming requests and documentation from various agenciesMaintain accurate records while handling sensitive and confidential informationMonitor security camera systems and report concerns as appropriateAssist with fingerprint-based background check processingVerify and reconcile information across multiple systems and databasesEnsure compliance with established procedures, policies, and applicable regulationsRequired QualificationsStrong computer and data entry skillsExcellent organizational and multitasking abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to work with confidential and sensitive informationProfessional customer service experienceHigh attention to detail and accuracyAbility to follow established procedures and deadlinesComfortable interacting with the public and various stakeholdersPreferred QualificationsExperience working in an administrative, records management, legal, government, compliance, law enforcement, healthcare, or customer service environmentFamiliarity with criminal justice, court, licensing, or regulatory processesExperience working with databases and electronic records systems
