Network/Systems Administrator (Thornton)

We are looking for a Network/Systems Administrator for our client in Thornton, CO. This is a full-time, onsite role.NO 3rd PARTIES, NO SPONSORSHIP, NO EXCEPTIONS. Candidates MUST be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.Responsibilities:Networking, wireless, and VoIP technologiesGeneral network infrastructure conceptsData center, MDF, and IDF environmentsInstalling, configuring, troubleshooting, testing, and replacing network devices across field sitesEducation/Experience:Associates degree in information systems, computer science, systems administration, or related area.Strong knowledge of network protocols, routing, switching, and security concepts.Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems, virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware), and cloud services.Familiarity with network security best practices, including firewall systems and services.Minimum of two (2) to four years experience in network systems administration with operations and maintenance of key IT infrastructure in a large / enterprise environment.Experience in several of the following areas: wired/wireless networks, switches, routers, routing protocols, VoIP, wireless access points, and firewalls.
