Controls Integrator – Industrial Controls & Systems Integration

Location: Sterling, VATravel: Regional travel within DC / Maryland / Northern VirginiaPosition SummaryThe Controls Integrator is a senior, field‑oriented technical role responsible for complex system integration across industrial and building automation platforms. This position owns multi‑system connectivity, enterprise‑level standards, and advanced field troubleshooting across BMS, EPMS, SCADA, and networking environments.This is not a remote or desk‑only position - Controls Integrators are deeply involved in commissioning, system architecture, and onsite problem solving.Key ResponsibilitiesIntegrate systems using BACnet, Modbus, OPC, APIs, and SQL data flowsDesign and enforce tag naming standards, metadata, alarming, and data governanceLead advanced troubleshooting of communications, performance, and system reliability issuesSupport enterprise‑scale deployments across multiple sites or campusesCoordinate OT networking requirements with IT teams (VLANs, firewalls, ports, security)Develop repeatable deployment, backup, and commissioning standardsAct as a technical escalation point and mentor for technicians and programmersRequired Skills & Experience7+ years of experience in industrial automation or controls integrationAdvanced experience with Niagara and/or Ignition enterprise deploymentsStrong knowledge of industrial networking and OT systemsProven ability to solve complex field‑level integration issuesExperience supporting commissioning of large or multi‑system projectsEqual Opportunity EmployerJSET is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
