Systems Integration Engineer

The Systems Integration Engineer is responsible for the successful integration of new client offices from assessment through deployment and handoff. This is a highly hands-on, heavily traveling role that serves as the technical lead for new office buildouts and integrations. The engineer will assess client environments, develop equipment recommendations, and execute onsite deployments of network, PC, and server infrastructure. Working closely with internal teams and onsite client resources ("boots on the ground"), this role manages office integrations to completion while ensuring consistency with client standards and best practices.This role requires frequent and sometimes extended travel to client sites, including overnight and weekend stays.ResponsibilitiesLead end-to-end integration of new client offices, including planning, onsite deployment, and post-implementation supportConduct onsite and remote assessments of client environments to determine infrastructure needsDeploy, configure, and test network equipment (firewalls, switches, wireless access points), servers, and PCsCoordinate and manage onsite integration activities, including directing and collaborating with local or client-side resourcesEnsure integrations align with client standards, security requirements, and MSP best practicesTroubleshoot and resolve issues encountered during deployments and integrationsCommunicate progress, risks, and completion status to internal teams and stakeholdersWork with cross-functional team members to effectively and efficiently support handoff to helpdesk or managed services teams following successful integrationAdditional duties as neededRequirementsAbility to travel up to 75%, including some weekend travelBachelor's degree in IT, Management & Information Sciences, or similar field preferredExperience in the dental industry highly preferredStrong working knowledge of networking concepts, hardware, and infrastructure (LAN/WAN, firewalls, switching, wireless)Experience deploying and supporting servers, PCs, and related hardwareWell-rounded understanding of operating systems, software, and networked environmentsAbility to assess environments, identify gaps, and recommend appropriate solutionsExcellent organizational and time-management skills, especially in a travel-heavy roleComfortable working independently and making decisions in the fieldStrong communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersWillingness and ability to travel extensively to client sitesPrior experience in an IT MSP environment preferredExperience with office buildouts, relocations, or multi-site integrations requiredFamiliarity with quoting or project scoping for infrastructure deploymentsExperience coordinating with third-party vendors or local technical resourcesBenefitsHealth care benefits (medical, dental, and vision)Paid time off (and public holidays)401(k) retirement planLife insuranceHybrid or remote work environment
