Job Title: Part-Time Family Nurse Practitioner (Sub-Investigator) – Clinical ResearchLocation: Encino, CA (primary) with occasional coverage in Mission Viejo, CASchedule: Part-Time, 24 hours per weekPosition Overview:We are seeking a skilled and adaptable Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) to serve as a Sub-Investigator (Sub-I) in a clinical research setting. This role involves working across multiple therapeutic areas and supporting the conduct of clinical trials while ensuring patient safety, protocol compliance, and high-quality data collection.Key Responsibilities:Serve as a Sub-Investigator on clinical trials in accordance with study protocols, GCP guidelines, and regulatory requirementsPerform physical examinations, medical histories, and eligibility assessmentsConduct study-related procedures, including IV placementMonitor patient safety and report adverse events appropriatelyCollaborate with Principal Investigators, study coordinators, and sponsorsEducate study participants on protocols, procedures, and expectationsEnsure accurate and timely documentation of source data and case report formsPatient Population & Scope:Work across multiple therapeutic areas (TAs)Treat a diverse patient population, primarily adultsLimited pediatric exposure (generally age 16+, and not a primary focus)Qualifications:Active and unrestricted Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) license in CAStrong clinical skills, including procedural competency (e.g., IV placement)Comfortable working across a broad range of conditions and study typesPrior clinical research experience preferred but not requiredExcellent communication, organizational, and teamwork skillsWork Environment & Benefits:Flexible part-time schedule (24 hours/week)Opportunity to work on cutting-edge clinical trialsCollaborative and supportive team environmentProfessional growth within clinical research
