Design Services Project Manager- Commercial Interiors
The Project Manager's primary responsibility is to lead visualization projects from initiation to completion—managing workflow, facilitating communication among internal and external stakeholders, overseeing project assets and details, and ensuring quality control of final deliverables. Success is measured by delivering compelling communication, initiating action, meeting timelines, and effectively coordinating resources to achieve stakeholder expectations within scope, timeline, and budget.**Project & Workflow Management + Process Optimization***Responsibilities centered on managing project flow, prioritization, and execution.** Serve as the centralized communication point for customers, sales, and internal stakeholders.* Oversee vendor relationship management and external workstream integration to ensure alignment with internal standards, while optimizing project routing across internal and external teams to improve completion ratios and overall workflow efficiency.* Manage all internal and external visualization requests, including scope, review timelines, resources, quality, and feedback. Prioritize, expedite, and escalate projects accordingly.* Leverage internal resources and external partnerships to prioritize projects based on commercial strategy.* Ensure quality control of visualization deliverables and provide guidance on required revisions.* Champion with a consultative, solution-oriented approach throughout the design process.* Collaborate with designers and digital partners to align solutions with brand intent and client expectations.* Develop processes and tools to improve team efficiency and support sales/end users.**Reporting, Insights & Trends**They ensure that the visualization team has the resources and support needed to elevate both commercial brands and deliver differentiated, exceptional customer experiences. This role is based in Cartersville, GA with a minimum of 3 days required in office. The Project Manager is a proactive self-starter who is organized, curious, a strong communicator, and connector who can manage multiple projects at a single time within a fast-paced organization. They must be passionate about process, meeting deadlines, driving results and being a team player. *Responsibilities focused on data, reporting, systems, and continuous improvement.** Provide brand-specific data, trends, and insights through monthly status reports.* Align and implement reporting practices; enhance systems to track metrics (in partnership with Interior Design Studio Manager).* Evaluate and enhance the team's processes and services to meet market demands and identify future opportunities.**Cross-Functional Collaboration & Strategic Alignment***Responsibilities that ensure alignment between teams, brand standards, and strategic objectives.** Collaborate with interior designers, visualization designers, and digital partners to ensure solutions meet brand and client expectations.* Partner across teams to ensure processes, tools, and deliverables support broader commercial goals and strategy.* Onboard and train sales team members (in partnership with Interior Design Studio Manager).**Team Leadership, Coaching & Development***Responsibilities centered on leadership and capability building.** Coach and develop 3 direct reports using PX as a leadership framework.* Onboard and train Visualization Designers.**Position Requirements:*** Bachelor's degree of Interior Design or Interior Architecture from a CIDA accredited college/university and/or Architecture from a NAAB accredited college/university, or relevant industry experience* Minimum 3 years of interior design experience required* Proficiency in Microsoft 365, Adobe Creative Suite, Revit, Enscape and CAD preferred* Ability and willingness for US travel up to 25%* Ability and willingness to work in a hybrid way at the Create Centre, Cartersville GA campus 3-5 days a week depending on the needs of the business, travel schedule and collaboration focus.Highly preferred experiences and skills: Visualization, project management and commercial industry knowledgeExcellent communication skills (written and verbal) Enthusiastic and adaptable team player Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines **Competencies** **Shaw benefits include:** Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401K and Retirement Plans *Shaw Commercial is based out of Cartersville, Georgia, at the Create Centre, an innovative facility that encourages collaboration and connectivity of commercial product development and marketing teams, as well as customers from around the globe.
