Operations Manager

*OPERATIONS MANAGER* Birmingham, Alabama Unique Event Elements is seeking a dependable, hands-on Operations Manager to oversee warehouse operations, event installations, inventory management, transportation logistics, and crew leadership in the Birmingham market. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with their hands, leading a team, solving problems, and taking ownership of projects from preparation through execution. *ABOUT US* Founded in 2009, Unique Event Elements is a full-service event production company specializing in custom draping, lighting, and event installations throughout the Southeast. From luxury weddings and galas to corporate and large-scale events, our team works behind the scenes to transform spaces and bring each event vision to life. We are a hands-on, team-driven company that values reliability, quality workmanship, strong communication, and taking pride in the finished product. *RESPONSIBILITIES* * Oversee day-to-day warehouse organization and operations * Prepare equipment and materials for upcoming events * Manage inventory and maintain equipment accountability * Coordinate event load-ins, installations, strikes, and returns * Lead and supervise installation crews on event days * Drive company vehicles and transport equipment as needed * Assist with drape installations, lighting installations, and event production setups * Operate lifts, ladders, and production equipment safely * Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment * Communicate regularly with leadership regarding project status and operational needs * Ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to company standards *QUALIFICATIONS* * Strong leadership and communication skills * Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines * Dependable, organized, and self-motivated * Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team * Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation * Ability to lift and move equipment regularly * Weekend availability required *PREFERRED EXPERIENCE* Experience in one or more of the following industries is highly valued: * Event Production * Event Rentals * Staging and Rigging * Warehouse Operations * Construction * Logistics and Transportation * Moving and Storage Facilities Operations *WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE* The ideal candidate takes ownership of the Birmingham operation, keeps the warehouse organized, leads crews effectively, communicates proactively, and helps deliver exceptional event experiences for our clients.
