Healthcare Integration Engineer - Remote

Healthcare Integration Engineer role open with a nationally recognized healthcare organization that's actively growing. This position sits within the organization's enterprise integration team and supports the continued expansion of their clinical data exchange between hospital partners, EMRs, and internal platforms. In this role, you will design, build, test, and deploy HL7 and interfaces within the organization's interface engine. Other duties include translating business and technical requirements into interface specifications, troubleshooting production issues, and partnering with hospital IT teams and vendors throughout the implementation and support lifecycle.This role offers competitive salary, excellent benefits, and a remote work schedule.Requirements:4+ years of experience in healthcare integration or interface development (HealthConnect experience preferred)Strong working knowledge of HL7 and common message types (ADT, ORM, ORU, MDM)Hands-on experience with an interface engine and strong debugging/troubleshooting skillsExperience integrating with major hospital EMRs such as Epic, Cerner, or MeditechAbility to define requirements, build data mappings, and validate integrations end-to-endStrong analytical skills including workflow analysis, data mapping, and issue triageAbility to manage multiple concurrent initiatives with minimal supervisionStrong documentation experience (interface builds, mappings, testing evidence, support procedures) Perceptive Recruiting, LLC, headquartered in Greenville, SC, has 27+ years of technology recruitment experience.
