Remote Apigee Architect

*Role*: R*emote Apigee Architect* *Duration*: *6 months* *Remote - United States* *Key Responsibilities* * Develop, document and run the prerequisite and checklist before the migration. * Work and review with the Customer team on migration implementation. * Performing migration of Apigee resources, configurations, and artifacts from Apigee Edge for Private Cloud (OPDK) to Apigee X for the in-scope Apigee Edge for Private Cloud (OPDK) Organization. * Proxies that are incompatible with Apigee X, for reasons including but not limited to use of deprecated features or misconfiguration, will be refactored based on the migration requirements. * Apply Customer standards, naming conventions, etc. * Rename the as-is migrated API Proxies, API Products, Apigee Apps, and Apigee Developers in Apigee X with some prefixes (as preferred and provided by the End Customer; and as supported by the Apigee X Product Limits). * Review of API proxies, policies and flows. If needed refactoring proxy configurations from legacy edge to Apigee X. * Functional and Validation testing should be performed against APIs published by the new Apigee X environment to ensure the platform meets expectations both in terms of functionality as well as performance. * Remediations and client driven customizations. * Collaborated system integration testing in required environments. * Production deployment and testing. * Partner with Customer team on production cutover planning and execution. * Assist in Go-Live support throughout the migration sprints.
