Process TechnicianDPP is seeking a Process Technician for an opportunity with our client in Huntington Beach, CA. Location: Huntington Beach, California Contract: 12 months; W2 position Work authorization: US Citizen Schedule: 1st shift - 6 AM - 2:30 PMPosition description:As a Process Technician, you will perform manufacturing/operational tasks for which you have been trained on, consistent with the requirements of the team, statutory and company standards (e.g., Health, Safety, Environment, the Quality Management System, and the Production System) including the manufacture and assembly of components and sub-assemblies.This is an entry level position, and our client is willing to train the right personMust be able to work a second or third shift depending on business needs.About the product:A leader in the novel application of Ceramic Matrix Composites, the High Temperature Composites team is growing very quickly at the frontline of the company's strategic development.This is truly a culture of growth, innovation and applied problem solving, dedicated to making a high impact on the larger business over the next 5-10 years and beyond.This location in Huntington Beach, CA is growing their manufacturing processes and needs a Process Technician to help support the increase in production.Responsibilities include:Perform weekly maintenance on equipment to ensure equipment is safe and reliableAbility to work as an individual and as a team player to get the job done.Follow production plans in order to meet customer requirementsAbility to resolve conflicts within the team in the context of team work in order to ensure high standards of professionalism of allParticipating in cost reduction/operational improvements in order to satisfy customer needsAbility to work as an individual and as a team player to get the job done.Physical requirements:Ability to stand for extended periods of timeAbility to lift up to 50lbs on occasion during a shiftAbility to safely handle compressed gas cylinders and other containers of potentially hazardous chemicalsBasic qualifications:High School diploma or GEDIn order to be considered for this opportunity, you must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security clearance, which requires USA CitizenshipFamiliar with Microsoft OfficePreferred knowledge, skills, and abilities:Experience within industrial or manufacturing environmentExperience working with compressed gases in industrial processesDetail oriented and able to follow proceduresStrong mechanical aptitudeAbout our client: This company is committed to creating next-generation innovations.
