CMM Programmer

Job Title: CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer Location: Thomson, GA Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Salary: $90,000-100,000 per year About the Role A growing advanced manufacturing company is seeking an experienced CMM Programmer / Quality Engineer to support quality operations and ensure customer requirements are met across production. This is a hands-on role combining CMM programming, metrology, and quality engineering, offering strong ownership and responsibility within the quality function. Key Responsibilities * Programme and operate CMM equipment (Hexagon, PC-DMIS or similar) * Develop and submit PPAP documentation to customers * Perform dimensional inspection and layout activities * Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA) and Gage R&R studies * Maintain calibration systems and ensure measurement capability * Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions * Support internal, process, and layered audits * Act as the quality representative for customer-related issues * Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with QMS Requirements * Proven experience in CMM programming and metrology * Strong knowledge of PPAP, MSA, and quality systems * Background in a manufacturing environment (automotive, plastics, or aerospace preferred) * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Strong problem-solving and communication skills Desirable * Experience with Hexagon, QCalc, or CMM Manager software * Experience in plastics or injection moulding * Previous customer-facing quality experience Benefits * Competitive salary: $70,000 – $80,000 * Health, dental, and retirement benefits * Paid time off * Career development opportunities Pay: $90,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year Benefits: * 401(k) * Dental insurance * Health insurance Work Location: In person
