Please have a look at JD below and drop your resume to mounikar@flextoninc.com or (408) 333-9240 if interested in applying!!***Only W2***Role: HPC EngineerLocation: Berkeley, CAWhat You Will Do (Level 3) Work with a team to develop and maintain a broad portfolio of software projectsBuild, refine, and support API endpoints and backend integrations for workflow automationTroubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues collaborativelyDevelop and refactor scripts and application codeCoordinate small project efforts (service rollouts, upgrades, etc.)Work with vendors to align tooling with user requirementsDeploy services using container-based cloud platforms (Kubernetes-based environments) Collaborate across teams to integrate APIs and services into large-scale computing infrastructurePresent technical work to internal teams and external technical communitiesAdditional Responsibilities (Level 4) Analyze and solve complex technical problems requiring deep evaluationWork with high independence on assignmentsResearch and implement new technologiesContribute to project strategy and planningProvide technical leadership and mentoringRecommend system improvements for performance, reliability, and securityEvaluate emerging technologies in high-performance computing and cloud systemsRepresent the organization in technical working groups and user communitiesRequired Qualifications (Level 3)8+ years experience with Bachelor's degree OR 6+ years with Master's OR equivalent experience 2+ years experience building APIs and web services on Linux in HPC/cloud/hyperscale environmentsExperience designing API interfaces for compute/storage/backend systemsExperience with: C, Shell, PythonGit and CI/CD pipelinesAI/ML tools or services (preferred) Databases (MongoDB, MySQL, PostgreSQL) Containers (Docker/Kubernetes) Strong understanding of software engineering best practices (performance, security) Ability to work independently and collaboratively on large projectsStrong communication skillsAdditional Requirements (Level 4)12+ years experience OR 8+ years with Master's OR equivalent experienceExperience with API frameworks (e.g., OpenAPI) Linux system administration experienceExperience with virtualization/container platformsAbility to lead projects and coordinate teamsStrong problem-solving and decision-making skillsThanksMounika RaviSr. Technical RecruiterCell | (408) 333-9240
