Job Title: Advanced Services EngineerSummaryThe Advanced Services Engineer is a customer-facing role that guides customers from intent to measurable outcomes by implementing and maturing their Varonis data security platform. By translating business goals into an execution plan, the role prioritizes adoption, operationalization, and risk reduction while setting measurable targets and clear decision points.ResponsibilitiesGather and analyze information about a customer’s environment, stakeholders, priorities, and constraints to define an outcome driven delivery planEffectively assess and translate technical and operational requirements needed to achieve the customer’s desired outcomesProactively identify blockers to progress and drive creative paths forward to maintain momentum and reduce time-to-valueUnderstand customers’ security pain points and consult on Varonis leading security practices that improve security posture and adoptionAdvise customers on security best practices and help embed them effectively into their business processesManage, track, and report on the progress of customer engagements, ensuring milestones, deliverables, and outcomes are clearly documented and communicatedPerform remediation projects to help customers reduce security risk by identifying gaps and implementing corrective actionsSupport customers primarily through remote engagement, with occasional on‑site assistance RequirementsUndergraduate degree (or equivalent practical experience)5+ years of related experience in customer facing technical rolesExperience with cloud/SaaS ecosystems such as Microsoft 365, Azure, AWS, Google, Amazon S3, and Salesforce.
