Apply via Dice today!We are looking for Java Big Data Developer for our client in Toronto, ONJob Title: Java Big Data DeveloperJob Location: Toronto, ON Job Type: ContractJob Description:Must To Have:5+ years application development experience in Hadoop, Spark and Java/Scala.10+ years application development experience in Java and Spring Framework.5+ years in developing and optimizing Big Data applications using Java/Scala and Spark on Cloudera/HDP.Experience in developing/designing micro-service architecture.Extensive experience in one of the cloud providers AWS/Azure and migrating large scale complex projects from on-prem to Cloud including in-between hybrid options.Proven hands-on experience in containerization Docker, Kubernetes, Openshift etc.Experience in developing applications in Spring & Spring Boot.Working knowledge of Jenkins CI, Git, CI/CD pipelines.Ability to work with multiple stakeholders business and technical.Nice To Have:Experience in building data pipelines on AWS/Azure and Databricks.Knowledge in Market Risk/Capital Markets/Banking.Hadoop, Spark, and Java/Scala Developer with Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience.
