Material Handler (Night Shift)

This position is in Sugar Land, TX and will report to the Warehouse Manager.The Material Handler is responsible for processing materials requests in a safe and efficient manner to ensure that production has the materials needed to fulfill customer orders.Hourly Rate: $17.00 an hour. $2.00 shift differential when work nights.Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to: Complies with established safety policies and procedures and other regulations as applicable. Processes material requests/returns. Scans movements. Pulls/stores material by operating a narrow aisle truck (swing reach/turret stock picker). Transports material by operating a forklift. Conducts inventory. Cleans and ensures the department is maintained in an orderly fashion. Performs other related duties as assigned.The Ideal Candidate Shall Possess The Following High School Diploma or GED required. Basic computer skills. Experience with web-based software and ERP systems required. Ability to read, write and speak in the English language to the extent necessary to effectively communicate and interpret instructions. Minimum of 2 years of forklift experience in a manufacturing environment required. Ability to frequently lift 50 lbs.
