The firm values professionalism, integrity, advocacy, and building strong relationships with clients through personalized legal service and practical solutions.Magnolia Shield Law is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Associate Attorney who has recently passed the Florida Bar and is eager to begin building a successful legal career in a collaborative and client-focused environment. This position is ideal for a newly licensed attorney seeking hands-on experience, mentorship, courtroom exposure, client interaction, and professional development opportunities.The Associate Attorney will support attorneys and legal staff in case preparation, legal research, drafting legal documents, client communication, and litigation support while developing substantive legal and practical skills. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES ·       Conduct legal research using applicable statutes, case law, regulations, and legal resources.·       Draft pleadings, motions, discovery responses, legal correspondence, memoranda, and other legal documents.·       Assist with case management and organization of client files.·       Communicate professionally with clients, opposing counsel, court personnel, and third parties.·       Attend hearings, mediations, depositions, and court proceedings as assigned.·       Support senior attorneys in trial preparation and litigation strategy.·       Participate in client intake meetings and case evaluations.·       Maintain accurate billing records and case documentation when applicable.·       Ensure compliance with Florida Bar rules, ethical standards, confidentiality obligations, and firm policies.·       Collaborate effectively with attorneys, paralegals, and administrative staff.·       Stay current on developments in Florida law and applicable legal procedures.·        QUALIFICATIONS·       Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.·       Recently admitted to The Florida Bar or awaiting formal admission with confirmed Florida Bar exam passage.·       Strong legal research and writing skills.·       Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.·       Strong organizational and time management skills.·       Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced legal environment.·       Professional demeanor and commitment to client service.·       Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and legal research platforms.PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS·       Internship, clerkship, clinic, or externship experience during law school.·       Moot court, trial advocacy, or law review experience.·       Prior exposure to litigation, family law, estate planning, criminal defense, civil litigation, or related practice areas.CORE COMPETENCIES ·       Professionalism and integrity·       Client service orientation·       Attention to detail·       Initiative and willingness to learn·       Critical thinking and problem-solving·       Adaptability and collaboration·       Confidentiality and sound judgmentMagnolia Shield Law offers a competitive compensation package that may include:·       Salary commensurate with experience·       Professional development and mentorship opportunities·       Paid time off·       Paid Florida Bar dues and approved CLE opportunities·       Health and wellness benefits, subject to eligibility·       Collaborative and growth-oriented work environment
