The work schedule will be a combination of onsite work locations within Nassau and Suffolk Counties and in the firm's office. The ideal candidate must possess an OSHA card and preferably an SST (Site Safety Training) card as well.The ideal candidate should also possess a green card or be of citizenship. No Visa entanglements and no H1-B holding company submittals.The salary for this position is $100,000 plus a comprehensive benefits package.Key Responsibilities:Oversee and manage all on-site HVAC construction activities for commercial projects, ensuring work is executed in accordance with contract documents, drawings, and specificationsCoordinate daily activities of HVAC subcontractors, foremen, technicians, pipefitters, sheet metal installers, insulators, controls contractors, and other mechanical tradesPlan and sequence HVAC work, including underground, rough-in, overhead, equipment setting, startup, testing, and close-out activitiesReview and interpret HVAC plans, shop drawings, submittals, specifications, and approved RFIsEnsure proper installation of HVAC systems including ductwork, piping, equipment, insulation, controls, supports, and penetrationsCoordinate HVAC layouts, elevations, slopes, clearances, and equipment placement with other trades to avoid conflicts and reworkMonitor quality of HVAC workmanship and verify installations meet design intent, code requirements, and manufacturer recommendationsEnforce site safety standards, including job hazard analysis (JHA), lockout/tagout, confined space, hot work, and fall protection requirementsConduct regular safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA, site, and company safety policiesCoordinate HVAC inspections, pressure testing, balancing, commissioning, and AHJ approvalsEnsure HVAC systems are ready for inspections, testing, ceiling close-in, and project milestonesTrack daily manpower, productivity, and progress specific to HVAC scopes of workIdentify schedule impacts, labor shortages, material delays, or coordination issues and implement corrective action plansManage HVAC material deliveries, staging, rigging, hoisting, and equipment protectionMaintain site logistics related to HVAC work, including access, crane picks, laydown areas, and cleanupCoordinate with the Project Manager, engineers, GC, and other superintendents to resolve field issues, RFIs, and change conditionsMaintain accurate field documentation, including daily reports, as-builts, punch lists, and deficiency logsOversee HVAC startup, testing, adjusting, and balancing (TAB) activitiesSupport project close-out, including punch list completion, O&M manuals, warranties, and final inspectionsThe interview process will include an initial phone or virtual interview screening.Please let me know your interest in this position, availability to interview and start for this position along with a copy of your recent resume or please feel free to call me at any time with any questions.RegardsBill StevensSenior Technical RecruiterPRI TechnologyDenville, New Jersey 07834P: 973-732-5454 x21P: 973-354-2799Bill.Stevens@PRITechnology.com
