This employee will primarily be responsible for building out Caltech’s energy data repository in Energy Star Portfolio Manager, using data supplied by Caltech Sustainability. This position reports directly to the Assistant Director of Sustainability.Essential Job DutiesConsult with sustainability, energy services, facilities, and other relevant Caltech departments on supportive measures for energy initiativesEnter data into Energy Star Portfolio Manager using the supplied metering data for campus utilitiesAssess lab buildings and offer suggestions to labs for reducing energy consumptionReport to Assistant Director of SustainabilityParticipate in other energy and water efforts as neededBasic QualificationsWorking towards the completion of a high school diploma or higher educationThis occasional staff role offers variable hours, depending on departmental needs.
