Job Description Job SummaryAs a Journeyman Electrician with IMSCO Technical, you will install, repair, and service conduit, wiring, and equipment in an industrial environment. You will report to the Electrical Service Manager.DutiesElectricians use a variety of hand and power tools to perform tasks, including voltmeters, ammeters, scanners, and tester. Must be able to perform the following duties listed below but not limited to:Understand and apply blueprints and technical drawingsTroubleshoot electrical circuitry and equipmentUse hand and power tools proficientlyInterpret reading on including ammeters, meggers, and ground metersDirect one or more apprentices on-siteMake customer satisfaction and job execution top priorities Apply and adhere to the NEC and applicable State and local codesQualificationsYou must possess a valid Texas Journeyman Electrician licenseExceptional communication and customer service skillsAbility to identify wires accuratelyAbility to perform electrical tests, interpret meter results and diagnose and repair problemsCircuitry knowledgeCritical thinking and problem solvingGood time managementMinimum 3-5 years electrical industry experienceAbility to operate powder-actuated tools, work from ladders and lifts and be able to stand or crouch for extended periods and be able to lift 50 lbsLegally authorized to work in the United StatesMust be able to pass a background checkBenefitsPaid time off401(k) enrollmentHealth insurance Dental insuranceVision insuranceLife InsuranceAbility to set up a Flexible spending AccountYou will be a valued member of a stable and established company.
