HR Generalist
Job DescriptionThe HR Generalist acts as a strategic partner to leadership, delivering comprehensive Human Resources support across the organization. This role plays a critical part in talent acquisition, onboarding, training, employee relations, and licensing, while supporting business objectives through effective staffing and retention strategies. The HR Generalist promotes compliance, fosters a positive workplace culture, and proactively addresses employee relations matters to mitigate risk and support organizational success.ResponsibilitiesConduct New Hire Orientation and Onboarding Source, screen, interview, and recommend candidates for hire Manage job postings, applicant tracking, and hiring workflows Coordinate and participate in job fairs and community outreachPartner with department supervisors to identify staffing needs and support workforce planningServe as a primary contact for Team Member questions, concerns and supportEnsure compliance with company policies, gaming regulations and employment lawsEnsure compliance with employee records, files, HR systems and annual trainingSupport team member engagement and activities and eventsActively participates in the property HEROS programTakes initiatives, shows ownership and goes above and beyond to assist team members with their needsAccepts feedback and coaching from leadersAll other duties assignedQualificationsMust be 19 years of age or olderProficient in English verbal and writtenProficient with iOS devicesFlexible to work a schedule that includes 1 night per week and weekendsMust be proficient in Microsoft Office and computersPrior HR experience a plus, Bilingual a plusMust have a GED or High School DiplomaBachelor’s degree, in Human Resources or related field experienceExperience working in HRIS systems a plusWorking knowledge of FLSA,FMLA,ADA,TITLE IV, State and Federal wage lawsStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong attention to detailsAdditional RequirementsAbility to push and pull up to 50 poundsAbility to lift and carry objects up to 30 poundsAbility to bend, stoop, twist, reach, and kneel repetitivelySafely work with provided cleaning chemical and equipmentAscend and descend stairs and maintain equilibrium for an extended periodMust be able to work from a standing position and/or walking motion for extended period
