FRH operators combine raw materials in a reactor, transfer them to trays, dry in ovens, grind, and package the powder. They must follow standard formulation instructions to accurately create powder product that meets specification. Required to take samples of the batch and turn them over to a laboratory for testing. They must follow food safety guidelines and accurate documentation of work completedHow You Will ContributeJob ResponsibilitiesInspects line equipment and driving equipment to ensure proper working conditionsFollow reaction and oven drying instructions to ensure we produce product that meets specification.Transfer materials, set up equipment, utilize piping and parts efficientlyStrictly follow detailed instructions to monitor equipment, control temperatures and consistency of the reactions.Work in a fast-paced environment able to multi-task and perform under pressure while remaining flexible.Sample and test for various attributes from the mixes after completion.Follow sanitary guidelines for CIP and cleaning.Filling out necessary paperwork and batch sheets that accompany mixes compounded.Consistently perform assigned duties in a safe manner and in accordance with the company's safety policies.Consistently perform and complete assigned duties without errors or other defects.Qualifications and Skill RequirementsHS Diploma/GED PreferredMust have a general knowledge of workplace safety and quality processes (GMP's, Allergens)Must have acute attention to detailAbility to use and read scales, accurate tare and recognize unit of measure requirements.Ability to perform basic mathematics (i.e., multiply, divide, add, percentages, etc.)Basic computer skills with RF scanner experience preferredAbility to manually lift 50 lbs. continuously when necessaryThe employee is required to wear a respirator after a Doctor's approval and successfully passing the fit and pulmonary test.Effective communication skills to report any safety or quality issue to the Lead or Manager.External Candidates preferred to have experience compounding or batching in other industriesInternal Candidates must show excellent work performance, a willingness to learn in their current roleAbility to work overtime when necessary.Starting Salary : $19.00/hrThe actual compensation that you will be offered will depend on a variety of factors including geography, skills and abilities, education, experience and other relevant factors.
