Action-packed Hershey Bears hockey games, thrilling live entertainment, and one-of-a-kind events are a day in the life of our Hersheypark Entertainment Complex team members at Hersheypark, Giant Center, Hersheypark Stadium, or Hershey TheatreBartenders will work throughout the Hershey Entertainment Complex in various bartending positions; including, GIANT Center, Hershey Theatre, Hersheypark, Hersheypark Stadium, and Hersheypark Arena. Hours will vary throughout the season and will regularly include evenings, weekends and holidays. This position is part time, year round (based on operating schedules and events).As a Part-Time Team Member, you will enjoy sweet perks like FREE admission and parking to Hersheypark, discounts on food & shopping, and more as soon as you receive your Employee ID!Job Duties (Duties marked with an asterisk are essential functions of this job):Check stock levels, organize, and set up drink service location*Serve all food and beverage in accordance to company and department service procedures*Recognize liability concerns with regards to alcohol consumption and adhere to Hershey Entertainment Complex alcohol standards*Maintain high standards of service at all times*Ring in and properly tender orders into a register*Perform other duties as assignedQualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older on the date of applyingKnowledge, Skills, and Abilities:Prior bartending experience is required (minimum of 6 months in bar/drink service operation)Must acquire RAMP Alcohol Service Certification upon employment (training and certification will be provided)Must work well with other employees and be able to interact with guestsMust have working knowledge of computer/computer based POS systemMust display a positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and professional image in compliance with Hershey Entertainment & Resorts guidelinesJob Demands:Must be able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays Availability requirements include the following:Must be available at least 2 days per weekMust be available at least 4 weekend days per month (Friday/Saturday/Sunday)Must be available at least 5 events per monthMust work a shift every 90 daysScheduled shifts may be adjusted to move from venue to venue at the department’s discretion to support operational needs throughout the Entertainment ComplexPhysical requirements include walking and standing for the majority of the shift; additional requirements include bending and lifting (up to 40 lbs. without assistance)Must provide black non slip/non skid footwearNothing in this job description restricts management’s right to assign or reassign duties and responsibilities to this job at any time.Hershey Entertainment and Resorts is an Equal Opportunity EmployerEqual Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
