Join our team — Retail Wine Assistant Manager The Wine Cellar Red Bank is hiring a Full-Time Retail Wine Assistant Manager to support daily store operations and assist with eCommerce and fulfillment. Rate: $19.62–$20.77 per hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-Time | 31–36 hours per week (Weekends required) Position Type: Long-term, permanent (not seasonal) No phone calls or walk-ins, please. Responsibilities Support store leadership with daily retail operations Assist with training, scheduling, and supporting store staff Deliver excellent customer service and thoughtful wine recommendations Assist with inventory management, merchandising, and product displays Perform opening and closing procedures and banking as needed Pick, pack, and ship online orders; receive and process returns Maintain a clean and organized stockroom and sales floor Act as Manager on Duty when scheduled Qualifications 1+ year of retail or supervisory experience (management experience preferred) Wine knowledge or willingness to learn Strong communication and customer service skills Must be 21+ years old Able to lift and move 40 lb boxes repeatedly Able to stand for 8+ hours per shift Reliable, customer-focused, and team-oriented Open availability including nights, weekends, and holidays Store Hours Monday: 11 AM – 8 PM Tuesday–Wednesday: 11 AM – 9 PM Thursday: 10 AM – 9 PM Friday–Saturday: 10 AM – 10 PM Sunday: 11 AM – 8 PM Benefits & Compensation $19.62–$20.77/hour (DOE) Full benefits package Fun, wine-loving environment Opportunities for growth and advancement If this sounds like the right fit, apply today with your resume and cover letter.
