This role requires strong attention to detail, mechanicalaptitude, and the ability to work across multiple areas of fabricationas needed. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-minded, andcommitted to producing quality components that meet specifications.Key Responsibilities Set up and operate lathe machines to produce precision partsaccording to specifications Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and technical drawings Perform tooling changes, machine adjustments, and routine machinesetups Inspect finished parts using measuring tools such as calipers,micrometers, and gauges Support other fabrication processes as needed, including drilling,sawing, and material handling Assist with material preparation and movement throughout production Monitor equipment performance and report maintenance or safetyconcerns Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following allPPE requirements Perform other duties as assigned, which may include occasionaltravelQualifications Previous lathe operation or machining experience preferred Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail Experience using measuring tools preferred Willingness to be cross-trained in multiple areas Reliable attendance and strong work ethicPhysical Requirements & Work Environment Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending,lifting, and movement Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly and occasionally up to 80+lbs Manual dexterity required to operate machinery, tools, and measuringequipment Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with temperaturesthat vary seasonallyWork ScheduleFull-time, MondayFriday.
