Senior Yard Staff - Government Services

Job TitleSenior Yard StaffJob DescriptionThe Senior Yard Staff safely receives, merchandises, uses inventory accountability practices, operates MHE, and facilitates check-out of items. They utilize a heavy mechanical aptitude to complete repairs and maintenance on items. They may perform their duties at customer locations, RB Global facilities, and/or Government Locations. Strict adherence to the Ritchie Bros. standard of customer service is always expected of the Yard Staff.ResponsibilitiesThe responsibilities include:May act as a lead or coordinate assigned activities.Receives/releases (checks-in/checks-out) inventory.Performs joint physical inventories at government locations.Uses systems to track and process inventory.Drives/operates heavy and light equipment.Performs facility inspections (per checklists) and provides housekeeping or maintenance services as necessary.Performs maintenance and heavy repairs on equipment.Merchandises and inspects items for sale.Boosts equipment.Performs complex demilitarization and deidentification.Checks fluid and fuel levels on equipment.Assist in coordinating logistics.Interacts with customers.Travels to other locations as needed.Perform other duties as assigned.QualificationsThe qualifications include:Good customer service to both internal and external customers.High school diploma or GED requiredTravel up to 80% may be requiredLift 80 pounds regularlyJob InfoThe job information includes:Job Identification 8917Locations 2175 Deer Rd, Abilene, KS, 67410, US (On-site)Job Schedule Full timeMinimum Salary 17.33Maximum Salary 21.65
