EXAMPLE OF DUTIES
In this position, you will supervise and instruct inmates in a structured training program focused on the refrigeration mechanical trade. This includes teaching standard practices, methods, and procedures for the installation, repair, inspection, and maintenance of refrigeration and air conditioning systems and related equipment. You will deliver classroom training using a relevant curriculum, maintain order and discipline among inmates during both work and instructional periods, and document all training progress, attendance, and assignment details. Additional responsibilities include overseeing inmate work crews to complete refrigeration work orders, planning and assigning daily schedules, and inspecting finished work assignments. Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 40 hours per weekWork hours are 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday - Friday, with a paid lunch period. This position is eligible for full benefits at age 50 or 55. Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.
