Orthotic & Prosthetic Technician About the Role Join Hanger, Inc., a national leader in orthotic and prosthetic care. As an O&P Technician, you’ll work hands‑on in a fabrication shop to build, adjust, and repair orthotic and prosthetic devices that help patients improve mobility and independence. What You’ll Do Fabricate and repair orthotic/prosthetic devices using hand tools and shop equipment Fit and deliver select prefabricated orthoses Educate patients on proper use and care of devices Manage inventory, ordering, and receiving of fabrication materials Work closely with clinicians to support patient care What We’re Looking For High school diploma or GED required Technical training school or 2 years experience preferred Comfortable using tools such as band saws, drill presses, routers, heat guns, etc. Strong mechanical ability, attention to detail, and teamwork skills A valid driver’s license and driving record within the standards outlined within Hanger’s Motor Vehicle Safety Policy and Procedures.
